The 27-year-old, who can play as a winger or as an attacking midfielder, has moved to the Championship outfit on a permanent contract from Norwich City.
Bennett was on loan at Bristol City for most of the first half of the season. The former Wolverhampton Wanderers prospect has expressed his gratitude to both Norwich and City on Twitter.

Bennett made 14 appearances in the Championship for City during his loan spell. The former Brighton & Hove Albion winger created 16 chances, had a pass accuracy of 69%, and won 21 headers, five dribbles and 22 tackles.
Blackburn are 17th in the Championship table at the moment with 28 points from 24 matches. Paul Lambert’s side are seven points above the relegation zone.
Rovers will take on Newport County away from home at Rodney Parade in the third round of the FA Cup on Saturday afternoon.
