Derby County fans react on Twitter to signing of Abdoul Camara

Derby County completed the signing of Abdoul Camara on Monday.

As confirmed by the official Derby website, Abdoul Camara has signed for the Rams from French club Angers.

The 25-year-old winger, who can also play upfront, agreed a three-and-a-half year contract with Paul Clement’s men, after impressing in Ligue 1 in the first half of this campaign.

The signing of Camara is another coup for the Rams, as they look to secure automatic promotion to the Premier League this season, and he adds even more quality to a squad with real talent throughout.

Speaking after the deal, head coach Clement said: “Abdoul Camara is a player that we have been monitoring closely and we’re pleased to welcome him to Derby County. I am sure he will settle in well and be an important part of the squad in the second half of the season and into the future.”

A Guinea international, Camara made his debut for his country at the 2012 African Cup of Nations, and has since scored four goals in 10 games.

Following the confirmation of the deal, Derby fans took to Twitter to react to the signing of Camara, with many excited to see the winger turn out for the Rams in the coming weeks.
