Aaron Cresswell excited by very bright West Ham future

The Hammers beat Liverpool 2-0 at the weekend to move within touching distance of the top four.

Aaron Cresswell has told West Ham’s official website that he believes their future is looking very bright for the club.

The Hammers have enjoyed a fine campaign so far, with Saturday’s 2-0 win over Liverpool taking them sixth in the table and four points from Tottenham in fourth place.

Their squad is arguably among the best they have had at their disposal in the Premier League as well, full of star players such as Dimitri Payet and Manuel Lanzini.

Added to that, they are set to make a historic move to the Olympic Stadium at the end of the season in an excitement step forward for the club.

And Cresswell is one of those who is excited by their bright future.

“The future is very bright for West Ham as we prepare to move into the new Stadium in the summer,” he told whufc.com.

The gaffer has come in and everything is looking good. I used to watch the Premier League and I think this is one of the best teams that West Ham have had for a while.

“All credit to the owners for bringing in the players they have. You look at Dimitri Payet and Manuel Lanzini and we have some exciting players.”

After the win over Liverpool, the Hammers will be hoping that a top four challenge is very much within their grasp.

They struggled over the Christmas period as they lost a number of key players, but crucially still managed to avoid defeats and continue picking up points.

With those key players now set to return though, Bilic’s side will be confident of winning more games and challenging for a place in Europe come the end of the campaign.
