The 22-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season, and is wanted by several Premier League teams.
If Leeds United decided selling was their best option, then Palace are a club which it may be worth doing business with.
Here are three players they should try to sign in part exchange, either on loan or permanently...
Former Peterborough attacker Dwight Gayle would be an outstanding addition to Leeds' attack, especially if they could sign him permanently, although they should not expect any cash plus the player. Gayle, 25, would liven up Leeds' sometimes leaden attack and be excellent foil for Chris Wood. He is out of favour with Alan Pardew, but has four goals in three Capital One Cup games to his name this season.
One-cap England international Frazier Campbell needs a move to kickstart his campaign, with only four starts in the Premier League so far this season. The 28-year-old had a record of 22 goals in 46 Championship games earlier in his career with Hull City, and Leeds would do well to get him in.
Jamaican international Adrian Mariappa would strengthen Leeds in the right-back position, and Palace would likely allow him to leave. The 29-year-old has made only four appearances in all competitions this season, and has Championship experience with Reading and Watford.
