Jerome Sinclair has been training with Liverpool's first team ahead of their Capital One Cup semi-final with Stoke City.

The exciting prospect can play out wide or up front, and made his debut in the competition against West Brom at just 16-years-old.

Sinclair is now 19, yet is no closer to forcing his way into the Liverpool first team on a regular basis.

This season he has not played a single minute of first team football, despite scoring for the under-21 side.

He is at a critical stage of his career regarding his future, with his contract set to expire in June.

The Mirror reported last week that he has emerged as a shock target for Manchester City, and could follow Raheem Sterling to the club in the summer, this time on a free transfer.

His lack of game time is unlikely to endear him to the option of staying at Anfield, but being in the first team set up for the semi-final first leg could change all that.
