The Hammers beat Liverpool 2-0 at Upton Park on Saturday, putting in a highly impressive display against Jurgen Klopp’s side.
That was their first league double over the Reds in 52 years, with goals from Antonio and Andy Carroll handing all three points to Slaven Bilic’s side.
It is not the first time they have beaten one of the so called bigger sides this season either, with wins over Arsenal, Manchester City and Chelsea already under their belt.
And Antonio says that nobody should be surprised that they can win against those sides anymore.
“It’s not a surprise that we’re producing these kind of performances,” he told whufc.com.
“We’ve shown it right from the start of the season when we beat all the top boys.”
“We’ve had a bit of a dip with the injuries, but players are coming back, the squad is getting strong again and now we can keep pushing on.
Antonio and co will now be hoping that further impressive performances can help them push for a place in Europe next season.
They now sit 6th in the table after their win over Liverpool, and just four points away from London rivals Tottenham who occupy fourth.
That means they are firmly in the hunt for a Champions League place, and will be hoping that the return of key players such as Dimitri Payet will provide a timely boost to their chances.
