Marseille coach Míchel has suggested to The Mirror that Michy Batshuayi will not leave the club in the January transfer window.
The 22-year-old striker has been linked with a move away from the French outfit this month, with as many as three Premier League clubs reported to be interested in his services.
Michel, though, seems confident that Batshuayi will not leave Marseille and has told The Mirror: “You want to kill me! I don’t think about Michy leaving. If we’re going to sign anyone it will be an addition not a replacement.”
Batshuayi has been on the books of Marseille since 2014 when he joined them from Standard Liege and is considered as one of the best young strikers in Ligue 1.
The Belgium international has scored 11 goals and created 17 chances in 19 league appearances so far this season.
The youngster has a pass accuracy of 74% and a shot accuracy of 60%, and has won 17 headers, 23 dribbles and six tackles.
During the 2014-15 campaign, Batshuayi scored nine goals and created nine chances in 26 Ligue 1 games.
