Hogan Ephraim seems to rate Nottingham Forest midfielder Chris Cohen and Queens Park Rangers man Alejandro Faurlin highly.

Former Queens Park Rangers attacker Hogan Ephraim has taken to social networking site Twitter to express his delight at the return to action of Nottingham Forest midfielder Chris Cohen.

Cohen returned from a long-term injury to play for Forest against Charlton Athletic away from home at The Valley at the weekend.

The 28-year-old midfielder came on as a substitute in the 86th minute on Saturday afternoon, as the Reds played out a 1-1 draw with the Addicks.

It was Cohen’s first appearance in 15 months, and Ephraim is happy to see the former Yeovil Town man back in action.

Ephraim, who is without a club at the moment, played with Cohen at West Ham between 2004 and 2006.

The 27-year-old, who can play as a winger or as a striker, has compared the Forest midfielder to Alejandro Faurlin.

Midfielder Faurlin, who has been on the books of QPR since 2009, has struggled with injuries in recent years. Ephraim played with the Argentine at Rangers and rates him highly.
