Harry Forrester and Charlie Austin react to Tottenham midfielder’s heroics against Everton

Rangers and Queens Park Rangers players were impressed with Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dele Alli’s goal against Everton in the Premier League on Sunday.

Rangers new signing Harry Forrester has taken to social networking site Twitter to suggest that he was impressed with the performance of Dele Alli for Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday evening.

Alli started the Premier League game against Everton at Goodison Park and played for 83 minutes, as the match finished in a 1-1 draw.

The 19-year-old midfielder scored the equaliser for Tottenham on the stroke of half time, volleying low past Everton goalkeeper Tim Howard after controlling Toby Alderweireld's superb long pass.

Forrester, who recently joined Scottish Championship outfit Rangers from Doncaster Rovers on a six-month loan deal, was impressed with Alli’s performance.

Queens Park Rangers striker Charlie Austin and Burnley midfielder Joey Barton were also wowed by the way the Tottenham youngster scored his goal.

During his time on the pitch at Goodison Park against Everton on Sunday, Alli took six shots, had a pass accuracy of 82%, created three chances, attempted two dribbles, and made one interception and three blocks.
