Bournemouth defender Tyrone Mings is pleased to see Jonny Williams return to Crystal Palace from Nottingham Forest.

Nottingham Forest fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to the return of Jonny Williams to Crystal Palace.

Williams joined Forest on loan from Premier League outfit Palace in September 2015. The 22-year-old midfielder’s stay at the City Ground was supposed to be until January 16, but he has been recalled early.

The youngster failed to make a huge impact at Forest during his loan spell, managing to make 10 appearances in the Championship.

In those 10 league games, Williams did not score a single goal, created five chances, had a pass accuracy of 76%, and won six headers, four dribbles and eight tackles.

The Wales international went straight to the Palace matchday squad after his recall for Sunday afternoon’s Premier League game against Chelsea.

The midfielder came on as a substitute with 11 minutes left on the clock, as Palace lost the encounter at Selhurst Park 3-0.

Forest fans have taken to Twitter to have their say on Williams, with Bournemouth defender Tyrone Mings delighted to see his former Ipswich Town teammate back in the Premier League.
