Demarai Gray has joined Leicester City from Birmingham City.

Demarai Gray has taken to social networking site Twitter to express his delight at joining Leicester City.

The 19-year-old winger has joined Premier League outfit Leicester from Championship side Birmingham City.

The youngster has signed a four-and-a-half-year contract with Leicester, as announced on the club’s official website today.

Gray is delighted to have made the switch and has posted the following message on Twitter and Instagram:

Tottenham Hotspur-owned Rangers winger Nathan Oduwa, who plays with Gray for the England Under-20 side, believes that the teenager’s contract with Leicester is well deserved.

Gray is rated as one of the best young players in England and is a good signing for Leicester.

The teenager scored six goals and created 41 chances in 41 Championship appearances for Birmingham last season.

The winger found the target once and created 30 chances in 24 league appearances for the Blues before his move to Leicester this campaign.

Leicester are second in the Premier League table at the moment with 40 points from 20 matches, just two points behind leaders Arsenal.

Meanwhile, Birmingham are currently eighth in the Championship table with 39 points from 25 matches, just two points behind sixth-placed Ipswich Town.
