The youngster has signed a four-and-a-half-year contract with Leicester, as announced on the club’s official website today.
Gray is delighted to have made the switch and has posted the following message on Twitter and Instagram:
Small message to @bcfcofficial for everything. Been at the club since 10 years old and loved every moment there. Forever in my heart and thank every member of staff that I've worked with. Have a lot of friends that I'll miss at the club and wish the best too! Improved every season at the club and have helped me get to where I am now. I'm ambitious and couldn't turn down such an opportunity to improve and play at the top level. Wish the lads the best of luck for the rest of the season and keep pushing on! Thank you to every supporter who has supported me since the start it doesn't go unnoticed. Always a blue #KRO!
Tottenham Hotspur-owned Rangers winger Nathan Oduwa, who plays with Gray for the England Under-20 side, believes that the teenager’s contract with Leicester is well deserved.
Gray is rated as one of the best young players in England and is a good signing for Leicester.
The teenager scored six goals and created 41 chances in 41 Championship appearances for Birmingham last season.
The winger found the target once and created 30 chances in 24 league appearances for the Blues before his move to Leicester this campaign.
Leicester are second in the Premier League table at the moment with 40 points from 20 matches, just two points behind leaders Arsenal.
Meanwhile, Birmingham are currently eighth in the Championship table with 39 points from 25 matches, just two points behind sixth-placed Ipswich Town.
