Celtic midfielder Stefan Johansen has told The Scotsman that he and the club are in talks about a new deal.
The 24-year-old has been on the books of the Scottish Premiership giants since 2014 and has a contract until June 2017.
Nir Bitton, Leigh Griffiths and Scott Brown have all recently signed new long-term deals with the Bhoys.
Johansen has praised Celtic for securing the long-term futures of the aforementioned trio and has revealed that he is in talks about a new deal.
“It is very positive for the club to sign those kind of players long-term,” the Norway international told The Scotsman. “For me, we are in talks. That’s all I can say and we will take it from there.
“I have no comment about it. You need to speak to my agent. Always in the past, I don’t comment about this. I know we are in talks and we’ll see what happens.”
