Norwich City forward Kyle Lafferty has been linked with a move to Leeds United in the January transfer window.

Well-known boxer Carl Frampton has jokingly suggested on social networking site Twitter that he will become a Leeds United fan if Kyle Lafferty joins.

Frampton, who is the current IBF super bantamweight champion, wants the Norwich City forward to move to Championship outfit Leeds in the January transfer window.

The 28-year-old boxer wants to see the 28-year-old forward link up with his Northern Ireland international teammate Stuart Dallas at Elland Road.

Lafferty has been linked with a move to Leeds this month, having found playing time limited at Norwich so far this season.

BBC Sport has quoted Leeds head coach Steve Evans as saying that talks with the Canaries are going on.

The former Rangers and Palermo man has managed to feature in just one Premier League game for Norwich so far this season.

During the 2014-15 campaign, Lafferty, a former Burnley striker, scored one goal and created 16 chances in 18 Championship appearances for the Canaries.
