West Brom fans react on Twitter to Rickie Lambert’s performance against Stoke

West Bromwich Albion defeated Stoke City in the Premier League on Saturday.

West Bromwich Albion fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to have their say on the performance of Rickie Lambert against Stoke City at home on Saturday afternoon.

Lambert started the Premier League game at The Hawthorns and played for the entire 90 minutes, as the Baggies won 2-1.

The former Liverpool striker failed to take a single shot, had a pass accuracy of 66%, created one chance, put in one cross, and won 40% of his headers.

After a goalless first half, Stephane Sessegnon put West Brom in the lead on the hour mark.

Jonathan Walters headed home the equaliser for the Potters on 81 minutes, but Jonny Evans found the winner for the home team in injury time.

Tony Pulis’s team are 12th in the Premier League table at the moment with 26 points from 20 matches.
