Sunderland won 3-1 against Aston Villa in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

Sunderland fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to have their say on the performance of Fabio Borini against Aston Villa away from home on Saturday afternoon.

Borini started the Premier League game at the Stadium of Light and played for 80 minutes.

The 24-year-old Italy international striker took one shot, had a pass accuracy of 71%, created one chance, attempted one dribble, and made three interceptions, one clearance and one block.

The Black Cats won the game 3-1, with Patrick van Aanholt scoring one and Jermain Defoe bagging a brace for the Black Cats.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at the Stadium of Light, hosts Sunderland had 45% of the possession, took 13 shots of which six were on target.

Sam Allardyce’s side are second from bottom in the Premier League table at the moment with 15 points from 20 matches, four points behind 17th-placed Swansea City.
