Derby County defender Stephen Warnock has taken to social networking site Twitter to express his disappointment at his side’s failure to win against Middlesbrough away from home on Saturday afternoon.
The Rams failed to return to winning ways in the Championship, going down 2-0 to Middlesbrough at the Riverside Stadium.
Two goals in quick succession late in the game from Albert Adomah and George Friend saw Boro pick up all three points.
Warnock, who started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, has admitted his disappointment on Twitter.
The former Leeds United full-back has also stated that the Derby players are determined to bounce back from the defeat to Middlesbrough.
Gutted about today's result. Now we have to bounce back and go on another run! #dcfc— Stephen Warnock (@StephenWarnock3) January 2, 2016
Over the course of the 90 minutes at the Riverside Stadium, visitors Derby had 52% of the possession, took 10 shots of which just two were on target, and earned seven corners.
Paul Clement’s side are second in the Championship table at the moment with 48 points from 25 matches, four points behind leaders Middlesbrough, who have a game in hand.
