Southampton are interested in signing Emre Mor from FC Nordsjaelland in the January transfer window, according to The Sun.
According to the British tabloid, Galatasaray, Manchester City and Everton all want the 18-year-old winger.
“FC Nordsjaelland have made Mor part of the first-team squad after he started on a part-time contract,” added the report. “The Danish Superliga side are set to receive £3.5million when he moves away from Denmark.”
Mor is only 18 years of age, and one suspects that he is going to be signed by Southampton with a long-term view.
Ronald Koeman’s side are struggling at the moment and are in bottom half of the Premier League table.
The youngster is unlikely to help out the Saints rise up the league table this season, but he is talented and could become an important player for the first team in the coming years.
With Everton, City and Turkish giants Galatasaray all reportedly interested in Mor, it is important that Southampton wrap up this deal quickly.
