New signing Maciej Gostomski could go straight into the Rangers starting line up next weekend, the Scottish Sun report.
Gostomski sealed his transfer to Rangers on Sunday, and he has been training with Mark Warburton's side over the past fortnight.
The former Lech Poznan goalkeeper - pictured above featuring in the Europa League against Basel - is in contention to face Cowdenbeath in the Scottish Cup.
Being cup weekend, it is an ideal opportunity for Warburton to rotate his side and give Gostomski a first chance to perform at Ibrox, without risking their league campaign.
Rangers kept a clean sheet at the weekend, winning 6-0 away to Dumbarton, helping their substantial goal difference.
The Gers are three points clear of second placed Falkirk, over who they have a game in hand over, and Hibernian, who they do not. Hibs have a goal difference of +18, Falkirk +21, and Rangers a substantial +42.
