Rangers fans react on Twitter to Kenny Miller's performance during Gers victory

Rangers hammered Dumbarton 6-0 on Saturday afternoon.

Rangers made it two wins in a week as they beat Dumbarton 6-0 away from home on Saturday afternoon, with Kenny Miller the hero.

The Gers had beaten Hibernian 4-2 on Monday afternoon, and hit the goal trail once again with a convincing victory on Saturday.

Bizarrely, Rangers were only 1-0 up at half time, as Miller scored his first of the game to put Mark Warburton's men in front before a goal blitz after the interval.

Miller grabbed two more in five second-half minutes to seal his hat-trick, before Martyn Waghorn, Andy Halliday and James Tavernier all hit late goals to make the final score 6-0 to Rangers.

Undoubtedly though, the hero of the day was striker Miller, who has taken his tally to ten goals in 20 games this season at the age of 36.

Miller earns plenty of criticism from Rangers fans for his performances, and it's clear that he is now winding down towards the end of his career, but it was also evident that he can still find the back of the net.

After the game, Rangers fans took to Twitter in order to comment on Miller's performance, with the veteran forward earning some rare praise.

Fans defended Miller due to the criticism he receives, and reflected on what a great servant he has been at Ibrox - despite previously playing for Old Firm rivals Celtic!

Here are some of the reactions from Rangers fans after Kenny Miller's hat-trick and performance against Dumbarton on Saturday...
