The 30-year-old looked visibly relieved as Leeds earned a draw against MK Dons.
Sol Bamba's reaction said it all about Leeds United's 1-1 draw with MK Dons on Saturday afternoon.
Indeed, a late own goal salvaged a point for the Yorkshire side at Elland Road - despite a poor performance that could well have seen Leeds lose out completely.
Bamba's relief, then, was palpable - as can be seen in the above photo (below is the Ivorian in action earlier on).
Bamba himself was criticised by Leeds fans for his performance at Elland Road but the 30-year-old certainly wasn't the only one to put in a poor display against MK Dons.
The Ivorian hasn't been at his best in recent weeks but there's no doubt the United defender is a top-class leader at the back when on form.
Like the rest of the Leeds squad, though, Bamba needs to become far more consistent. And the relief he and his team-mates would have felt after the equaliser against MK Dons needs to be used as motivation.
Next up for Leeds is an FA Cup clash against Neil Redfearn's Rotherham and a Championship trip to Ipswich Town. Results in both games would provide a huge boost as 2016 properly kicks off.
