Nottingham Forest fans react on Twitter to Michail Antonio's performance v Liverpool

West Ham - Upton Park: Boleyn Ground

The West Ham winger netted once again, prompting plenty of good wishes from former club Forest.

Saturday was another day to remember for West Ham United. Andy Carroll proved a point against his former club, while the east London side enjoyed their first league double over Liverpool since the early 1960s.

And, speaking of former clubs, West Ham's other scorer received plenty of praise and congratulations from his ex-side on Twitter after the game.

Indeed, Michail Antonio, who burst forward to score the Hammers' opener against Liverpool, is finally starting to show glimpses of what he can do after joining from Nottingham Forest on Deadline Day.

Not only has the 25-year-old got West Ham fans talking but he's generated plenty of reaction from Forest fans, too.

The majority (not all) seem to be delighted for the winger and are wishing Antonio continued success at Upton Park. The Hammers forward netted fortuitously against Southampton but followed it up with a far more confident finish (which was even a header) against Liverpool at Upton Park.

And, with Antonio tracking back for West Ham, many Forest supporters even joked that the winger is now doing more than he ever did at the City Ground.

Here's how Nottingham Forest fans reacted on Twitter to Antonio's display against the Reds:
