The Forest star has been out of action for 15 months.
He last played for Forest in an East Midlands derby v Derby County way back in September last year and has been out of action in the 15 months since.
He suffered a serious knee injury 15 minutes into the match and was initially ruled out for just nine months. However, given the severity of the problem and his previous knee troubles, the recovery has taken longer than usual and he has not yet returned to action.
Cohen came on in the 86th minute of the 1-1 draw with Charlton Athletic to rapturous applause from the travelling support.
The committed and determined utility star is a popular player among the Forest faithful and his dexterity and passion will add to the club's current options.
A limited player, but one who will wear his heart on his sleeve for the Nottingham Forest cause.
