West Brom

West Bromwich Albion defeated Stoke City on Saturday, while Manchester United beat Watford in the Premier League.

West Bromwich Albion winger James McClean has taken to social networking site Twitter to revel in his side’s victory over Stoke City at home on Saturday afternoon.

The Baggies won their second successive game in the Premier League, as they got the better of Stoke 2-1 at The Hawthorns.

After a goalless first half, Stephane Sessegnon put West Brom in the lead on the hour mark. Jonathan Walters headed home the equaliser for the Potters on 81 minutes, but Jonny Evans found the winner for the home team in injury time.

Victor Anichebe, who has been on the books of West Brom since 2013, has taken to Twitter as well to express his delight at the win.

The Nigeria international forward has also described Sergio Aguero as the best number nine when he is fit.

Argentina international striker Aguero, who has struggled with injuries this season, scored the winner for Manchester City in their 2-1 comeback victory over Watford away from home at Vicarage Road in the Premier League on Saturday evening.
