Christian Benteke lost his personal duel with defender James Collins, as Liverpool slipped to defeat to West Ham.
The Reds lost 2-0 to West Ham, and the scoreline could have been higher in Slaven Bilic's side's favour.
Belgian international Benteke was outplayed by West Ham's defenders, and former Hammer Danny Gabbidon took to Twitter to mock the former Villa striker's expensive price tag.
That look when you realise the striker you owned for 90 mins cost 32.5 million! pic.twitter.com/rfmZIYpXEH— Daniel Gabbidon (@Gabbidon35) January 2, 2016
Gabbidon has proved very hit and miss this year for the Reds, and despite his disappointing display at Upton Park, did score the winner against Sunderland earlier in the week.
It would be easy to take Gabbidon's remarks and point towards West Ham's attacker, Andy Carroll, but the ex-Liverpool flop scored the second goal in the 2-0 win in Saturday's game.
Benteke is finding it difficult to lead the line on his own for Liverpool, needing everything to go right in order to be effective, and the hope is that he can form an effective partnership with Daniel Sturridge and show improvement - but when the ex-Manchester City trainee will ever be fit on a consistent basis is anybody's guess.
