After Lafferty's Leeds tweets, Norwich fans make their feelings towards him clear

Kyle Lafferty

The Canaries forward has been linked with a move to Leeds - but do supporters really want him to go?

Norwich City forward Kyle Lafferty took to Twitter on Sunday evening to clarify rumours linking him with a move to Leeds United.

But, in truth, the 28-year-old neither confirmed nor denied the links. A betting man wouldn't have seen anywhere near enough to put him off placing a little flutter...

Lafferty needs games ahead of the biggest summer of his life - where he will be playing in the Euro 2016 finals with Northern Ireland. At Norwich right now, he isn't getting them.

The forward says he's flattered by Leeds' interest and many feel he is under-appreciated at the Canaries, both by the manager and supporters.

Yet is that really the case as far as Norwich fans are concerned?

Indeed, when the 28-year-old posted his Leeds-related tweets, United supporters replied en masse - predictably making it clear they want Lafferty at Elland Road. A number of Norwich fans also replied, however...

And plenty of them showed their support to Lafferty, suggesting that they actually want to see him given a chance at Carrow Road - rather than have him sold to Leeds or anyone else...
