It looks like the Argentine will be on the sidelines again for a while.

West Ham United took on Liverpool today at Upton Park and put Jurgen Klopp's men to the sword in a classic Premier League performance.

Goals from Michail Antonio and Andy Carroll did the trick for The Hammers who also had some positives to take from the game regarding the return of Manuel Lanzini and Dimitri Payet from injury.

Although, only one of them came out unscathed.

Lanzini suffered yet another injury problem in the game and had to limp off from the field of play.

He has suffered a groin injury and despite Slaven Bilic's hopes immediately after the game that the injury was not too bad, it seems he could be set for another stint on the sidelines.

West Ham chairman David Gold had some bad news for West Ham fans on Twitter, as he confirmed the injury to be slightly worse than first believed.

Here is the post in question:

It seems that once again West Ham are going to have to do without the mercurial Argentine once again for the upcoming weeks and perhaps Slaven Bilic may move to make improvements in the transfer market this month with that in mind.
