Tottenham transfer news: Levy wants Didavi for free; Sandro rumours take another twist

A select round-up of the latest news relating to Tottenham Hotspur

According to a report from Welt Fussball, Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing VfB Stuttgart midfielder Daniel Didavi on a free transfer at the end of the current campaign.

The 25-year-old is an attacking midfielder who can also operate on either wing and he would represent quite a bargain if Tottenham can get him for nothing this summer.

However, the latest report suggests Stuttgart are keen on selling Didavi in January rather than losing him for free just a few months later, so it remains to be seen if Spurs chairman Daniel Levy will get a deal done before someone else swoops in for what is likely to be a cut-price fee.

Didavi has played 54 matches for Stuttgart, scoring 13 goals and providing six assists in the process.

In other news, Spanish football expert Guillem Balague has taken to Twitter to give an update regarding Barcelona forward Sandro Ramirez.

Tottenham have been strongly linked with a move for the Spaniard, with the Mirror recently claiming the 20-year-old is now a viable alternative to Saido Berahino and Michy Batshuayi, but Balague now claims Spurs have denied any interest in the player despite Barcelona hinting that Premier League clubs are circling.
