The England striker is looking to find the back of the net v Everton.
Tottenham Hotspur take on Everton at Goodison Park tomorrow in a big clash that could define the rest of both team's seasons.
Everton need to start turning their exciting football into wins after recent disappointing results, including the 4-3 defeat to Stoke City last time out.
Spurs meanwhile are on the cusp of being serious title contenders.
Tottenham are an exciting outside bet for the title and if they pick up a win against Everton on Merseyside tomorrow that will be a sure sign of their title credentials.
One player who is clearly looking forward to his first game of the new year is Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane.
He had an exceptional 2015 and will be hoping for similar in 2016. He clearly is hoping to continue his good form and keep Spurs in the hunt.
He sent out this tweet:
Looking forward to the game tomorrow against Everton! Let's start 2016 with a win! #COYS— Harry Kane (@HKane) January 2, 2016
Kane will also be licking his lips. Everton have been leaking goals in recent times and the England striker certainly does have a liking for hitting the back of the net.
If he is in top form then Everton might be shipping some more.
