Liverpool are keen on signing Fulham sensation Moussa Dembele, report The Mirror.
Dembele, a former PSG trainee, has scored 10 goals for the Championship side this season, but his future at the club remains in doubt.
The Frenchman's contract expires at the end of this season and Fulham have been unable to convince him to sign a new deal. The hope at Craven Cottage is the appointment of new boss Slavisa Jokanovic will have a positive impact in this regard.
The Mirror's report claims that despite Dembele's expiring deal, Fulham want £12 million for his services.
While there may be room for Liverpool to negotiate downwards, rival interest from Premier League sides Tottenham Hotspur or Manchester United could spark a bidding war.
Dembele is just 19-years-old, and is forming an impressive strike partnership at present with Ross McCormack.
At Liverpool he would have to compete with Daniel Sturridge, Christian Benteke, Danny Ings, Divock Origi, and possibly Mario Balotelli upon his return from loan next season.
