West Ham United defeated Liverpool 2-0 at home in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

Former Arsenal midfielder Ray Parlour has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to West Ham United’s win against Liverpool at home on Saturday afternoon.

West Ham registered their second successive victory in the Premier League, as they got the better of Liverpool 2-0 at the Boleyn Ground in London.

Former Nottingham Forest winger Michail Antonio put the Hammers in the lead after just 10 minutes, and Andy Carroll made it 2-0 to the London outfit 10 minutes into the second half.

Parlour was pleased with the victory for West Ham, and so was the club’s vice-chairman Karren Brady.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at the Boleyn Ground, hosts West Ham just 35% of the possession, took 18 shots of which 10 were on target, and earned three corners.

Visitors Liverpool had 65% of the possession, took 23 shots of which only two were on target, and earned nine corners.
