Paul Merson predicts West Ham v Liverpool

West Ham United will face Liverpool in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

Former Arsenal attacker Paul Merson has predicted on that the game between West Ham United and Liverpool on Saturday afternoon will end in a draw.

West Ham will take on Liverpool at the Boleyn Ground in the Premier League in a few hours’ time, and Merson believes that the match in London will finish 1-1.

“I wasn't really impressed with Liverpool against Sunderland, they didn't look great,” the former England international has written on “They didn't keep the ball for more than about four or five passes, and the goal was rather fortunate.

“The manager will be pleased with the result, but Jurgen Klopp will know that if they carry on playing like that they will not win many football matches. They gave away the ball so cheaply.

“West Ham, if they get all their players back, are a threat. They got a massive win against Southampton, especially after going 1-0 down against a club on a bit of a high.”

West Ham returned to winning ways in the Premier League on Monday evening when they got the better of Southampton 2-1 at home.

Slaven Bilic’s side will head into the game full of confidence, although they will not find it easy against a Liverpool side who are picking up results at the moment.

The Merseyside outfit will head into this afternoon’s encounter on the back of a 1-0 victory over Sunderland away from home at the Stadium of Light.

It was Liverpool's second successive win in the Premier League, and manager Jurgen Klopp will be determined to make it three in a row.

Liverpool have won on seven of their last 10 visits to the Boleyn Ground, with the Hammers winning the other three.
