A new Nottingham Forest signing is imminent, manager Dougie Freedman has confirmed.
The coach was speaking to BBC Radio Nottinghamshire, and told the station a deal could be finalised before the weekend is over.
Freedman declined to name the player concerned, but instead described the incoming loanee as 'experienced.'

Forest drew with Charlton Athletic today, not an ideal result against a side below them in the table, but at least they managed to keep their unbeaten run going, which extended all the way through December.
They currently sit in 14th position in the Championship, 10 points off the play-off spots, but also 10 points clear of the relegation zone.
A transfer embargo once again hampers their dealings in January, but loans and free transfers are permitted, with restrictions on wages.
Loan deals have been productive so far, with Ryan Mendes and Nelson Oliveira both impressing after being signed on deadline day in September.
