The former Leeds striker responded humorously on social media after the 1-1 draw with MK Dons.
Michael Bridges took to Twitter to joke about the 'top finish' that earned Leeds United a point against MK Dons on Saturday afternoon.
Leeds' goal, of course, was an own goal - and a well-timed one as the home side didn't look like scoring of their own accord.
And Bridges saw the funny side after United just about managed a point at Elland Road.
Leeds fans have now been left in an interesting position. Chris Wood is often slated by the Whites faithful but, against MK Dons, he was missed.
United looked short of ideas in the final third and their overall performance was lambasted.
But, if you look at the bigger picture, there doesn't seem to be much to worry about just yet. Leeds aren't losing, they have only just dropped out of the top half and are 11 points clear of the drop zone.
It's when you throw ambition into the mix that fans might be disappointed. United had the chance to push on but looked abject. To stay in the Championship, things are looking great. To try and make the play-offs, things are a long way off.
