A select round-up of the latest news relating to Liverpool

According to a report from Turkish website Fotomac, Fenerbahce are considering paying Liverpool’s €10million asking price for winger Lazar Markovic.

The Serbian only signed for the Reds in 2014 but he has failed to make any significant impact to date, scoring three goals and providing one assist in 34 appearances.

More recently he has been on loan at Fenerbahce and it is now being reported that Liverpool would be willing to sell the 21-year-old for a fee in the region of £7.3million.

That could represent a real bargain for the Turkish side if Markovic fulfils his potential, but in truth it is likely that Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp will want to work closely with him before deciding his fate.

In other news, German newspaper Bild reports that Klopp is interested in signing 24-year-old Swedish winger Emil Forsberg.

The left winger currently plays for RasenBallsport Leipzig, where he has scored five goals and provided eight assists in 33 matches, and the latest reports suggest Liverpool would be willing to pay around £6.6million to bring the player to Anfield.
