Although the captain does not seem convinced about a title challenge yet.
The French international produces a couple of top saves in most games as he continues to be an impressive feature in the Spurs XI.
In the past however there have been significant doubts about the future of the player. He has been linked with a number of top clubs around Europe as he continues to prove himself as one of the best keepers in the world and didn't deny that he would be on his way out of Spurs in a recent discussion with Canal +.
This weekend however he sounds a lot more positive about a future with Tottenham - as they begin to be tipped as outside bets for the Premier League title.
Lloris has been speaking to L'Equipe this weekend and seems to be excited about the future of Spurs - although the title may not be on his mind this season:
"Anything is possible in football, but compared to other clubs, it's not a lack of ambition as saying that the championship, it is not a natural goal (for Tottenham).
"But in the future, given what is built, the project of the club, the coach in place, the younger generation, the new stadium will be there in 2018, this may become a target, yes."
It is certainly an exciting time to be a Spurs fan. They have a young and talented squad full of potential to go on and become the Premier League's top team, not to mention a brilliant new stadium in the making.
Lloris will hopefully be a part of that exciting journey and should they top the table come May, exit talk can be postponed.
