Dougie Freedman confirms Jonathan Williams and Liam Trotter departures, not interested in Dean Moxey

Forest City Ground

The loan market will be handy for Nottingham Forest again this winter.

Nottingham Forest retained their unbeaten record today but would have been left disappointed with the final result against Charlton Athletic.

The Reds only managed a draw at The Valley from a game they should have won.

Ben Osborn had scored on the brink of half-time but Simon Makienok's strike in the second half earned the struggling side a point.

Forest are unbeaten in seven now and will hope to continue that form into the rest of the New Year. However, they will be having to scratch around in the transfer market.

Once again Forest are going into a transfer window under a transfer embargo, but they can make some loan signings.

This will only happen however if certain players leave the club.

Speaking to BBC Nottingham Sport after the game he confirmed that Jonathan Williams and Liam Trotter would not be remaining at Forest. He also made it clear that he was not looking to sign one of his former Bolton and Crystal Palace player's in the form of Dean Moxey to cover for Daniel Pinillos - who is out for the season with a serious knee injury.

It remains to be seen who it is Forest are bringing in but hopefully they can go on to have a big impact in Forest's hopeful push for the play-off spots.
