Dele Alli's excited message to Tottenham Hotspur fans on Twitter

Can Alli have an even better 2016?

What a year Dele Alli has just had.

At the start of 2015 he agreed his move to Tottenham Hotspur from MK Dons in his first big move to a Premier League club.

He went back to MK Dons on loan for the rest of the season and helped the club to a fantastic end to the campaign - which resulted in automatic promotion to the Championship.

He then joined up with Spurs in the summer, went on to become a first-team regular at Spurs and has picked up plaudits galore for his performances at White Hart Lane.

Add to that an England debut and a stunning strike at Wembley v France and 2015 has been special for Alli.

He knows that and sent out this tweet yesterday:

Alli is however only just getting started. He is 19-years-old and already looks comfortable playing week-in week-out in the Premier League.

Not only for Tottenham but England as well. The teenager looks like being a star for club and country in the years to come and 2016 sees England head to France for the European Championships.

What an occasion that could be.
