Tottenham midfielder Mousa Dembele faces 'weeks' on the sidelines.
Tottenham Hotspur have been dealt an injury blow by the news Mousa Dembele faces a spell on the sidelines.
The Mail report the midfielder will be out for a minimum of three weeks out, after picking up a groin injury.
Dembele has been in excellent form this season, outstanding in the North London derby, and a key part of the side's success which has them currently in the top four, and viewed as an outsider for the Premier League title.
It is important Spurs can't allow Dembele's injury to cause them to lose their momentum, but they will need the rest of their stars to stay healthy while he is out. Both Ryan Mason and Nabil Bentaleb are options to replace him in midfield.
Dembele is out of this Sunday's game against Everton, as well as next weekend's FA Cup tie at home to Leicester. He will also miss the subsequent league games against Leicester and Sunderland, and could hope to make a comeback against Crystal Palace on January 23.
