The Eagles are currently fifth in the table under Alan Pardew.
They have been very much an away side so far, enjoying the third best away form in the league, with 17 points from a possible 30 so far on the road.
Palace's home form has not been as impressive however, and they sit eighth in the home form table, having been defeated four times at Selhurst Park this season.
And Cabaye says if they can improve on that, Europe will be a realistic target at the end of the season.
"I think we can carry on and keep winning games. Maybe we could just improve a little bit more about our home games,” he told cpfc.co.uk.
"That's what we need to work on and then hopefully we will stay around the European places, because I think that objective can become a reality.”
“We've got the Premier League to focus on and also the FA Cup is a fantastic trophy. It's iconic, it's held in such high esteem.”
Given the open nature of the Premier League this season, there is no denying that a place in Europe is very much within Palace’s grasp this season.
They are currently fifth in the table, and just four points behind Tottenham Hotspur in fourth place, while Manchester United are only one more point ahead in third place.
That means the Eagles, who would surely be happy with a Europa League place this season, can very much be aiming for the Champions League if they continue their current form.
