MK Dons may be struggling near the bottom of the Championship table, but they are a side that prioritises keeping the ball.
The Dons boss, Karl Robinson, encourages his players to pass with confidence, and Evans admits that he is expecting Leeds to have to be disciplined to pick up the three points.
“We need to get Saturday out the way, where hopefully we’ll get a busy Elland Road,” Evans said.
“On Saturday we will need to deal with a team that will have a lot of possession, I can tell you that in advance.”
On paper, Leeds look the favourites to win on Saturday - as they have been vastly improved under Evans’ stewardship so far.
Leeds have now taken 19 points from the 53-year-old’s first 12 matches in charge, and they were impressive in their last outing against Derby County.
The Whites could only manage a 2-2 draw against the Rams, but they more than matched the promotion chasing side for 90 minutes.
MK Dons, meanwhile, still seem to be adapting to life in the Championship, and they are currently stationed in 20th position - just one point above the drop zone.
