The Cottagers have been in poor form this season, but they won their most recent outing 4-1 against Rotherham United - following the appointment of Slavisa Jokanovic.
And Holloway believes that the ‘new manager bounce’ will help Fulham, as they prepare to host Wednesday at the weekend.
“I've got a bee in my bonnet with Sheffield Wednesday - they let me down big style against Middlesbrough,” Holloway said.
“I really like the way they play but Fulham will be buzzing around all over the place, like they were in the 4-1 win over Rotherham, looking to impress their new manager.”
If Fulham were to beat Wednesday 3-1 it would be somewhat of an upset, given the two side’s respective league positions.
Fulham are currently in 18th place in the Championship table, and despite their win over Rotherham they are only four points above the drop zone.
Wednesday, meanwhile, have put together a very impressive campaign - and they have only lost six of their first 24 matches.
The Owls are stationed just outside the play off spaces, as things stand, and they will be keen to prove Holloway wrong at the weekend.
