The 19-year-old has enjoyed a phenomenal calendar year.

If a writer pitched a novel on January 1st 2015 about a lower-league player who netted 30+ goals, earned a move to the Premier League and had become a Tottenham Hotspur regular before the end of the year, their idea would likely be thrown to the dogs.
And, if that writer had suggested the youngster would have gone on to star for his country, scoring as well as playing at Wembley Stadium, his idea would have been considered not worth the paper it was written on.
Obviously, real stories can end up more dramatic than any fictional tale. Tottenham's Dele Alli proved as much in 2015 and enough has now been written about his achievements during a special calendar year for the teenager.
When he was asked by the north London club to sum up the past year, all Alli really had to do was list the headlines of his 2015.
How will 2016 pan out for both the midfielder and Spurs? Anything is possible looking at Tottenham's current position. And, even if a 'Spursy' collapse is on the cards, there could still be a place in the top four come the end of the season...
