The Hammers have been suffering with injuries more than any other team in the Premier League after seeing no fewer than eight first team regulars ruled out through injury for various periods over the last two months.
The East Londoners lost star man Dimitri Payet, playmaker Manuel Lanzini, winger Victor Moses, key defender Winston Reid, first choice strikers Diafra Sakho and Enner Valencia, back-up strikers Andy Carroll and Nikica Jelavic and even ever present left back Aaron Cresswell to injury over the course of November and December.
While the Hammers' improved squad has mitigated the impact of those injuries to some extent, Bilic's side did go eight games without a win before finally beating Southampton 2-1 last time out.
That's because the latest update from West Ham's head of medical and sports science, Stijn Vandenbroucke, on the club's official website has delivered some astonishing news.
After months without anything resembling his strongest squad to choose from, Bilic could have everyone available bar Sakho, who will be out until at least February.
Lanzini and Carroll returned to action in the second half of the win over Southampton.
Reid all about it
And they will be joined by hero Payet, Reid, Moses, Cresswell and Jelavic as West Ham return close to full strength for the match against a side they beat 3-0 at Anfield earlier this season.
"Dimitri Payet has recovered from his high ankle sprain and has been training with the team," Vandenbroucke told whufc.com.
"Dimi will be available to play some part against Liverpool on Saturday.
"The same is the case for Nikica Jelavic and Aaron Cresswell, who both have a good chance to be available for the weekend.
"Victor Moses and Winston Reid will join training later this week and are working with the rehab fitness coach to get the necessarily fitness under their belts."
