The Leeds midfielder is odds on to stay at Elland Road but other clubs are popping up on the radar, according to bookmakers.
Sam Byram isn't the only Leeds United youngster making headlines going into 2016. Indeed, according to Sky Bet, midfielder Alex Mowatt could join a number of different Premier League clubs in January.
Naturally, the 20-year-old could end up staying at Elland Road. This time last year, Mowatt was equally linked with a top-flight move. It's also important to note the midfielder is 1/5 to stay at Leeds.
But bets have still been placed and, right now, Everton are 6/1 favourites to prise Mowatt away from Leeds.
Roberto Martinez is known for working with young, creative players and the Spaniard would likely welcome the youngster to Everton. Alongside the Toffees, however, are Championship side Hull City, also priced at 6/1.
Newcastle are struggling for creativity in midfield, with central midfielders Vurnon Anita and Jack Colback offering little both in the way of defence and attack. But will West Ham or Everton hold an edge over the Magpies due to their Premier League position?
Or will Mowatt simply remain a Leeds player, disappointing the likes of Newcastle, Hull and more?
