2015 is nearly over, and what a year it has been for Tottenham and England striker Harry Kane.
The 22-year-old earned his first call up for the Three Lions, thanks to his prolific form for his club.
Kane has been remarkably consistent, ending the year in as excellent form as he began it, and he is by far the leading scorer through the calendar year in the division.
He has eight more goals than his nearest competitors, and astoundingly - more than multi-million forwards Alexis Sanchez and Diego Costa combined.
|Sergio Agüero||Man City||19|
|Christian Benteke||Liverpool / Aston Villa||17|
A special mention must go to Odion Ighalo who has reached 14 goals with just half a Premier League season to his name.
The Nigerian scored 16 goals in the Championship in the first half of the year, and has adapted to the top flight like a duck to water.
Yet Kane will be the man to beat in 2016, and if he can eclipse his 27 league goals across the calendar year, it will be hard to bet against him.
