Nottingham Forest drew 1-1 with Cardiff City yesterday evening.

Nottingham Forest supporters have praised Oliver Burke for taking his chance against Cardiff City.

Burke was awarded just his second Championship start of the season by Dougie Freedman yesterday evening, and he impressed with his showing.

Burke had showed his class when he came on for Forest against Leeds United on Monday - and he nearly struck a winner in that fixture, with his late long-range shot coming back off the post.

He made a big impact from the start against Cardiff, and was a constant menace to the Welsh outfit’s defence.

Forest took the lead when Burke finished well in the early stages of the contest, but they were unable to hold on as Cardiff struck back.

Aron Gunnarsson hit an equaliser, and then the two sides played out an even match.

The game finished up as a draw, with Forest now sitting in 14th place in the Championship table - 10 points away from the play off spots.

Here is the best reaction from Forest fans to Burke’s display in the contest.
