Leeds United drew 2-2 with Derby County at Elland Road last night.
Leeds drew 2-2 with the Rams at Elland Road, and they put in a very good performance in the fixture.
Derby have been hugely difficult to beat this season, and they are one of the standout sides in the Championship.
However, Leeds gave Paul Clement’s men a real scare and almost picked up the three points.
Leeds fell behind when Jeff Hendrick struck early on the fixture, but they proved their character.
The Whites reacted well to going behind, and Sol Bamba deservedly put them back on level terms.
Steve Evans’ side then took the lead when Chris Wood powered home a Sam Byram cross, but they were unable to hold on - with Tom Ince scoring a late equaliser for the visitors.
Leeds’ display still showed the progress that the Yorkshire outfit have made under Evans’ stewardship, and their players certainly didn’t seem too disappointed by the result.
