Derby County fans react to Darren Bent's performance against Leeds on Twitter

Derby County West Stand

Derby County drew 2-2 at Elland Road yesterday evening.

Derby County supporters have criticised Darren Bent’s performance after the striker made little impact against Leeds United yesterday evening.

Bent was selected to start for Derby, in place of Chris Martin, but he was on the periphery of the contest.

The England international striker failed to get involved, and he rarely had any chances of note throughout the match.

In the contest, Derby and Leeds played out a 2-2 draw, in what was a thrilling encounter.

The Rams took the lead through Jeff Hendrick, but the Whites hit back and scored their goals through Sol Bamba and Chris Wood.

At that stage it seemed that Steve Evans’ men were set to pick up a valuable victory, but Derby showed why they have been so hard to beat when Tom Ince netted a late equaliser.

The draw leaves Derby one point off top of the table Middlesbrough, while Leeds are in 12th.

It was Bent’s ineffective performance that dominated Derby fans comments on Twitter. Here is the best reaction.
