Tottenham fans mock Heurelho Gomes’ display for Watford on Twitter

Tottenham Hotspur won 2-1 against Watford in the Premier League on Monday afternoon.

Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to have their say on Heurelho Gomes’s performance for Watford on Monday afternoon.

Gomes was in goal for Watford as the Hornets took on Tottenham at Vicarage Road in the Premier League.

The Brazilian goalkeeper was on the books of Spurs from 2008 until 2014 when he moved to Watford.

The 34-year-old did not have a great time at White Hart Lane, but he is now the first-choice goalkeeper for the Hornets.

However, against his former club Spurs on Monday, Gomes did not fare well and conceded twice.

Argentina international attacker Erik Lamela put Tottenham in the lead in the 17th minute, and Odion Ighalo restored parity for the home team four minutes before the half-time interval.

Son Heung-min secured the three points for the North London outfit when he found the target in the 89th minute.

Tottenham fans have taken to Twitter to mock Gomes. Below are some of the best comments:
