Over the course of the 90 minutes at The Valley, hosts Charlton had 57% of the possession, took 10 shots of which only two were on target, and earned six corners.
Visitors Wolves had 43% of the possession, took nine shots of which three were on target, and earned eight corners.
The Wanderers will return to Championship action on January 1 when they take on Brighton & Hove Albion away from home at the American Express Community Stadium.
